THE BRITANNIA INN - Gower's Best Kept Secret

Boasting awe-inspiring views over the Loughor Estuary, the Britannia Inn is situated in the picturesque village of Llanmadoc on the North Coast of the famous Gower Peninsula (Britain's first designated 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty')

Visit this beautiful 18th Century pub, with its original fireplaces, bread oven and roof beams, some of which are reputed to have been taken from the ships that were 'lanterned' ashore in the nearby Estuary.

The Food

Whilst here, you can choose to treat yourself to one of Martin's mouth-watering dishes in the à la carte restaurant, freshly-prepared using the finest local produce; in addition, during the day you can order from the home-cooked bar menu, also prepared using fresh, local ingredients.

The Pub

Maybe you'd prefer to just sit and enjoy one of our delicious ales, cool lagers or fine wines in the beautiful surroundings of one of Britain's best kept secret, the Gower peninsula? And why not?

Along with beer gardens to the front and back, there is also an assortment of rabbits and guinea pigs in our hutch, a well-stocked aviary with a variety of budgies, parakeets and a parrot, and a duck pond.
