Join us on one of our Land Rover Safari’s of the Afan Valley forest park. The perfect way to explore the area in all its glory, the deep narrow valleys, the forested mountains, and see if we can search out the varied wildlife. Travel on road, country lanes, and ancient byways in the worlds leading 4×4, as we strive to give you the best of the local history, scenery and experiences of the area. If you come for the day we’ll have a lovely 2 course lunch but which ever safari you choose there will always be a tea or coffee to hand with a welsh cake or two to keep the wolves away.

The Afan Forest Park is a 48-square-mile forest park set in the Afan Valley in Neath Port Talbot, South Wales, well-known for its mountain biking and hiking or hillwalking trails.

You can take a trip round the Afan forest to sample the surroundings and the beauty of the landscape, but if you want something different you can finish off with clay pigeon shooting, quad biking or paint balling.

Safaris

    • Afan Forest Safari (Half Day) – approx 3 hours - A tour of the lower Afan Valley taking in the breath taking scenery
    • Afan Forest Safari (Full Day) – approx 7 hours - After a morning discovering the lower Afan valley you will be treated to a 2 course lunch at one of our local hostelries. After lunch we continue our safari reaching the top of the valley where you will be treated to stunning views down into the Afan valley.
    • Afan Forest Safari & Margam Castle (Full Day) – approx 7 hours - Start the tour with a walk around the Margam estate and discover the historic buildings. Explore the grounds once owned by the Talbot family who’s name was given to the town of Port Talbot. Observe the deer that have roamed the grounds for centuries, then after a 2 course lunch we’ll take you on a tour of the lower Afan valley.
