Records show that the Farmhouse and Barn date back to the 13th century or earlier. We have the history of the farm and all its past tenants from 1560. The original farmhouse was enlarged in 1890 when the front of the house and the front of the cottages were rebuilt. The Barn that houses the B&B was also increased in size at this date.
Ty'n Cellar farm was originally part of Margam Abbey estate, and it is thought that the name of the farm originates from the cellar man who kept all the supplies for the estate at the barns.
We have been very careful to maintain as many of the original features and characteristics as possible in all the buildings.
Our accommodation comprises of 6 bedrooms.
All rooms are equipped with tea and coffee making facilities along with television and hair dryers. The rooms have adjustable heating. There is an iron and ironing board available on request.
