Established in 2011, we are one of the newest breweries in Wales. Armed with the best ingredients we can find, we pack our ales full of flavour and natural goodness and ultimately brew beers that we want to drink!
Ales of Outstanding Natural Beauty
Inspired by the love of great beer and the lack of a brewery on the Gower Peninsula - the UK's first area of outstanding natural beauty - the Gower Brewery was born. Established in 2011, we are one of the fastest growing breweries in Wales.
Armed with the best ingredients we can find, we pack our ales full of flavour and natural goodness and ultimately brew beers that we want to drink!
We are proud to help spread the word of craft beer around the country and put Gower on the map as a destination for great beer.
We brew to the highest standards using, old fashioned, traditional methods. Helping us achieve this is our Master Brewer, Dave Campbell. Dave has over 25 years brewing knowledge and experience.
If you’d like to gain an understanding of how we make our ales, what ingredients we use and why - and you fancy a good evening out with friends or colleagues - why not come on a brewery tour…
A nice evening out!
We run tours for between 10 -20 people. Our tours are run during the evening and start about 6pm - 7pm. You’ll be here for around an hour, which is plenty of time to have a look around and discover how we make Gower Gold so tasty!
We’ll give you a history of Gower Brewery, an explanation of the brewing process and raw ingredients, and follow it all up with a tasting session! If you would like a tour for a smaller number of people then just get in touch and we can arrange something for you. Brewery tours are £10 per person and you’ll need to book in advance. Brewery Tour Vouchers can also be purchased - an ideal gift
It doesn’t end there!
After you tour, why not head to The Greyhound Inn, just 4 miles down the road, and round the evening off with a home cooked meal. Or if you would like to sample a few more of our ales, The Kings Head Inn – our 4-star B&B, is located approximately 8 miles from the brewery.
Get in touch and we’ll help you arrange your evening and reserve a table...
