Have your say: Neath Port Talbot Tourism Stakeholder Survey (deadline 24th January)
As you will be aware, during 2018; thanks to a great deal of support from the tourism industry in the area, Neath Port Talbot Council reinstated its tourism provision. The team is now concentrating on putting in place the footings to develop the destination further and deliver impactful destination marketing campaigns.
During the consultation process for the new team, two issues in particular were raised by tourism stakeholders;
1. The absence of a formal visitor information provision, and;
2. Establishing a meaningful brand with which both tourism operators and the local authority could promote the destination.
Two separate pieces of work are now underway to address these issues.
Sblash & Cole and Shaw have been appointed to undertake a feasibility study on creating a visitor information network for the county.
Heavenly, led by Roger Pride and Geraint Thomas, has been appointed to deliver a destination brand for the area.
Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council would be grateful if you could give up approximately 10-20 minutes of your time to complete the following online questionnaire which will contribute to the findings of both of the above projects.
The questionnaire can be accessed here https://wh.snapsurveys.com/s.asp?k=154514392670 and will close on 24th January 2019.
Tourism Swansea Bay representatives recently met with NPTCBC and Heavenly to give input and now we would like to encourage any of our Neath Port Talbot members who haven't yet completed the survey to do so before the deadline and have their say
