The clock tower of St David’s church is at the heart of the thriving historic market town of Neath. The town centre boasts an impressive indoor Victorian market selling a wide variety of traditional goods and fresh produce.

Victoria Gardens in the centre of the town combines a 19th century bandstand with a circle of standing stones erected for the National Eisteddfod held here in 1918. The remains of Neath Castle and other features dating back to the Industrial Revolution can also be found in the town.

The town has plenty of shops, cafes, and pubs to visit and provides access to Neath Canal, ideal for a walk or canal boat trip.

The Gnoll is home to the Neath rugby team the Welsh All Blacks and matches can be enjoyed there throughout the season.
